The Hidden Lineage: Are Subsurface Civilizations Humanity’s Relatives?

People have been fascinated by stories about aliens and galactic federations for a long time. But Leslie and Stephen Shaw, who wrote the book “Who They Are And What They’re Up To” have a theory that changes everything we thought we knew about these encounters. Based on their research, the beings that people usually call "aliens" might not be aliens at all. They could be a more advanced group of humans who lived through disasters in the past by going underground.

This press release talks about the main ideas behind Shaw's work and gives readers a new way of looking at things that brings together human evolution, ancient civilizations, astral communication, and modern contact phenomena into one big theory.

A disaster that changed the course of history

The Shaws say that a huge comet, (the Younger Dryas Comet), hit Earth 12,850 years ago. Shaw's theory says that a group of advanced humans survived by going deep underground and building societies that were safe from destruction on the surface.

They went underground to survive the comet and the stayed underground because of the drastic changes to the climate on the surface. Changes that made living on the surface unpalatable. Changes that continued for 1,100 years after the impact.

These civilizations that live underground have kept changing, both physically and mentally, they have mutated living underground, getting bigger, blacker eyes, getting pale and thin, with clear hair or no hair. They have maintained the human ability of telepathy, that we have let atrophy. Their biology changed, the way they talked to each other changed, and their understanding of consciousness grew over thousands of years. We humans are THEIR ancestors; they have mutated FROM us.

The Shaws think that these are the “aliens’ that people see today. They are not from another star system. They are related to us, they evolved right here on Earth, even though they look different from modern humans. Their biology and behavior suggest a species that adapted to subterranean habitats and and low-light conditions.

Astral Interaction: A Deeper Form of Contact

One of the most misunderstood parts of contact events is how astral communication works. The Shaws say that a lot of interactions don't happen in physical space, but in an astral or consciousness-based state. Our alien cousins use the astral realm to keep tabs on their abductees and to exert their influence on their subjects without having to physically take them every time.

Astral travelers, remote viewers and gifted psychics have exhibited distinctive brain activity that corresponds with this form of communication. The U.S. government performed brain scans on abductees and discovered that they have the same kind of brains as people with ESP. On of the alien’s criteria for picking abduction victims is they are looking for those with psychic abilities. The two parts of the brain that are more developed are:

• The Caudate Putamen

• The Parahippocampal Gyrus

Individuals who effectively engage in non-physical perception exhibit heightened activity and development in these areas.

The alien’s message is consistent

The Shaw's research shows that the messages these beings send are always the same. They frequently caution humanity regarding nuclear armaments and ecological devastation. These warnings don't come from cosmic protectors, but from beings that are biologically related to us. They live inside this planet. If we blow up the world with nukes, we would kill them too.

They also interact with people for biological reasons. They take blood and organs from cattle because they need DNA to help their own projects. We think living underground has made them less viable. They need to get DNA from surface dwellers to perpetuate their species.

This interaction isn't random. It is part of an old relationship between people who live on the surface and people who live below the surface.

Ancient Evidence: The Annunaki and the Advancement of Humanity

A big part of Shaw's work is about old civilizations. Recent data provides compelling evidence that the Annunaki presence flourished in Southern Africa and Mozambique over 200,000 years ago. Shaw's research supports new ideas that humans may have evolved from Homo erectus to Homo sapiens about 300,000 years ago.

This indicates that contemporary humans possess a mixture of genetic influences, incorporating elements from sophisticated entities that existed on Earth prior to documented history.

Shaw connects mythology, archaeology, and current contact phenomena by acknowledging this possibility.

Disavowing the Interdimensional and Federation Narratives

The Shaws makes one thing very clear: their research does not back up the idea that we are dealing with visitors from other dimensions or good galactic federations. They think that these stories keep people from seeing the truth instead.

He says that the beings we meet want us to look up at space instead of down at the ground, where they really come from. They keep people from finding out that they are really there by pretending to be aliens or beings from higher dimensions.

The Shaws call them "our cousins" because they live on the same planet and have the same evolutionary history. Testimony from thousands of females abductees, claim they are being raped by aliens, becoming pregnant and then four months into the pregnancy, they are taken again and the fetus is stolen. The aliens are getting us pregnant just by having sex with us. This means they are human. They CAN’T be anything else.

What They Are: A Book That Changes the Way People Talk About UFOs

Readers can learn more about this theory in the Shaw's book, “Who They Are And What They’re Up To.” Researchers, people who have had experiences, and fans of ancient mysteries are all interested in the book because of its strong but well-supported claims. They offer a different point of view that goes against what most people think about contact by combining scientific research, personal stories, and historical records.

Why Strategic Communication Is the Key to Church Renewal

At a time when churches are seeking relevance, unity, and a new focus, the revolutionary book by David W. Stokes, From the Pulpit to a Movement, casts a bright light on one of the resolutions that have been ignored or neglected: church renewal starts with strategic communication. Stokes says that visionary, Spirit-led, intended preaching that is voluntary can accomplish much more than inspiration; it can rebuild, reconnect, and re-ignite whole congregations. The message by Stokes is straightforward but radical. To the contemporary pastor or ministry leader, communicating is not only about giving sermons but about vision-making, culture-making, and leading people towards a common mission. By providing a blueprint of strategic preaching, From the Pulpit to a Movement redefines what preaching is in the 21st century. This is a model that will redefine the role of the pulpit as a platform of comfort; it becomes the catalyst of change. His book exposes a process of renewing churche...

Writing for the Ones Who Remain: The Pen Maker Is a Memoir Written for Family, Not Fame

Tom M. pens a heartfelt account of love, regret, and resilience meant to guide future generations. In a world captivated by celebrity memoirs and public recognition, The Pen Maker by Tom M. takes a different path. This intimate, reflective autobiography is not written for fame or acclaim; it is written for the ones who remain: family members, loved ones, and future generations who will carry forward the stories and lessons of a life fully lived. Through candid reflection, emotional honesty, and careful storytelling, Tom M. crafts a memoir that is as much an act of love as it is a chronicle of memory. The Pen Maker traces a lifetime of experiences shaped by family, work, and the quiet trials that define adulthood. At its core, the book is a meditation on legacy: the ways we influence those around us, the choices that shape character, and the importance of preserving memory for those who come after. Tom M. writes with sincerity and restraint, capturing the joys, challenges, a...

Dear Nathalie Stakes Its Place in Literary Fiction With Emotional Precision and Formal Restraint

Dear Nathalie arrives as a literary novella that resists categorization, offering a narrative shaped by psychological depth, formal restraint, and emotional seriousness. Told through letters, journals, and fragmented memory, the book aligns itself firmly with literary fiction rather than popular genre storytelling, prioritizing interior life over plot-driven resolution. The novella does not rely on conventional narrative propulsion. Instead, it unfolds through accumulation—of correspondence, of silences, of realizations that arrive too late to alter outcome. This structural choice positions Dear Nathalie alongside literary works that privilege emotional consequence over narrative closure, inviting readers into a space where meaning is uncovered slowly and often uncomfortably. One of the defining features of Dear Nathalie is its refusal to simplify complex emotional relationships. The book does not frame its characters in moral extremes. There are no villains, no heroes, no...
